The idea of "searching...Yes this makes sense. The idea of "searching for happiness with my body." I read the Somatic Experiencing blogs, although I have no formel training in this area. But what I do know is that when I sing chant and polyphony, in church choirs in huge stone churches, my body enters into a blissful healing joyful mode of producing "good vibrations." It's like being surrounded by a force field of pristine light. I mean literal wavelenghts of some kind of light wave energy which is profoundly ecstatic, centering, and healing.

So thus you are on that pathway of finding what resonates in your own body, for yourself. Being outdoors, imagery, exercising, fun, jokes, sunshine, music, companionship, vegan meals, etc. It's all a pilgrim journey of learning. Entrainment. That's the word. We are learning, through trial and error, the process of entrainment. Your journey is a powerful one.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17598972217057338828noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3179493995370177232.post-19818040506617428772010-04-20T21:53:26.062-06:002010-04-20T21:53:26.062-06:00Hmm, more vegan recipes - yummy! I've been doing a lot of mental imagery to convince my immune system that it's a good thing to generate healthy cells and that they should go find bad cancer cells and eat 'em up. The strange thing with cancer is that it's not like an infection or some virus. It's something that your body is making. So I've got to (at least, imho) retrain my body to not engage in this kind of destructive behavior. So I'm less in an ass-kicking mode and more of a "come on guys. We're all in this together. Making bad cells and not identifying bad cells is not in anyone's best interest. Get with the program and stop doing stupid stuff!" Does that make sense?George Florentinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13454081099512727227noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3179493995370177232.post-55497748821560576602010-04-20T17:52:48.228-06:002010-04-20T17:52:48.228-06:00I like the idea that your body malaise will probab...I like the idea that your body malaise will probably plateau out and you can ride this thing out at a steady pace for awhile... Keeping my intentions with you for the course of your treatment to continue to feel "manageable" - and for the milestones for successful ass-kicking of the cancer to continue!! xo
ps I'm starting to look up vegan recipes I can cook for you... I enjoy your pole dance. Susan is a fabulous wing-women. Great pics.

So it's up, up, up that mountian road and onward to glory. Long stretches of time trekking over mother earth. That's the ticket. Why not? Today at lunch we rode flag staff and of course I was not with the lead group. Just as I was feeling slightly sorry for myself some guys blew by all of us, including the lead pair in our group. So if want humbling, a lunch ride in boulder is just the ticket! so working out at any level is definitely better (imoh) than not working out, whatever level you're at.George Florentinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13454081099512727227noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3179493995370177232.post-79370558004134435782010-04-20T14:46:32.303-06:002010-04-20T14:46:32.303-06:00Very cool that you've been able to maintain a ...Very cool that you've been able to maintain a high level of activity through this process.
